Pavo Heart Game: Thursday Session

When you enter the light, you find yourself hovering weightless in a void, as if caught in a moment of falling inertia. In the distance, you hear a voice that seems to shift and twist, familiar and yet unfamiliar.

"You shouldn't be here. But since you already are, let's make a wager. If you can uncover the truth, you'll find me. If you can't, you may be hopelessly lost... What a shame that would be."

You begin falling, and your vision blacks out--

Very carefully holds it up to his ear and listens to ... the box... ? ]

[It does not make any noises. It is a simple box.]

Hmmmm...................

I'd like to pull a rabbit out of this box, but I have not yet lost one. How tragic...

[ I'm so sorry Sir Knight. He'll try to open it now. ]

[Inside the box is... a round stone held in a setting of golden wings. It looks like the one Pavo carries around, only it's a bright teal colour, carrying a symbol resembling a set of unfurled wings. When you touch it, you feel a rush of elemental energy into your body -- you know, instinctively, that you can now control the element of wind.

There's also an oddly shaped tile bearing a map of the constellation Columba. On the back a message is written in a slightly blocky, runic handwriting:

The elements know the truth of this world.]

I have to say, you vision bearers sure are lucky. Fighting aside, Elemental Sight makes life a lot easier.

Speaking of which... There's something I think you could help me with, if you don't mind.

[ I can't believe I mastered the art of standing in the wind at such a precise angle so that my hair doesn't fucking fly around wildly just to be given the power of wind later on. ]

[He seems kind of surprised! But then, as if something suddenly occurs to him, he nods to himself.]

Right, right, you're not from Teyvat. Elemental Sight is an ability all vision bearers have -- that is, people the gods have blessed with one of those stones. It's like a sixth sense you can use to see and trace the elements even when they're not visible to the naked eye.

I see... well, at this moment, I do not see, but I'm sure that I'll manage.

[ Anytime the guy isn't looking at him he's just going to be rapidly blinking now. Thanks. ]

You just have to activate it... Uhm, but don't ask me how! I don't have one.

[ He's nodding. Okay. Activating things beyond normal human ability is his deal so it should be fine. ]

[He walks away a few steps, gesturing at a small, round plate on the wall. Around it are seven elemental symbols, and in the center is a light that's currently dark.]

If you could apply some elemental energy, it should turn on.

[ Oh my god that's awesome though. It probably only gets noticed when he makes a comically bizarre expression though, because he's always smiling. ]

[ The movies he's seen about this are horror movies, though. ]

[The reflection does not do anything horror movie-esque, unfortunately. It just smiles, and otherwise mimics you as it should.]
