Pavo Heart Game: Wednesday Session
When you enter the light, you find yourself hovering weightless in a void, as if caught in a moment of falling inertia. In the distance, you hear a voice that seems to shift and twist, familiar and yet unfamiliar.
"You shouldn't be here. But since you already are, let's make a wager. If you can uncover the truth, you'll find me. If you can't, you may be hopelessly lost... What a shame that would be."
You begin falling, and your vision blacks out--
[OOC NOTE: your goals are "reveal the truth" to "find the true heart". All images in toplevels are for general inspo, please make sure you read the flavourtext cause things are not exactly as they are in the images.]

Re: THE SEA OF STARS
You can use the ladder to put the ceiling back together. There's even a bucket of plaster!
As you place the pieces, the sounds of the experiments begin to echo a bit. Have you improved the acoustics, maybe?
Regardless, when you get close to finished, you'll notice there's a missing piece... and it matches the shape of your constellation tile.]
Re: THE SEA OF STARS
[She'll put her piece in!]
Re: THE SEA OF STARS
And then your body is seized by a wave of agony. Your skin burns, your bones twist -- surely you hit the floor, but by the time you do you've been thoroughly Cursed. Exactly how is player preference, but you've gained some sort of monstrous features. Your form is no longer a pleasing one.]
Re: THE SEA OF STARS
[There's a yowl as she hits the ground and]
[.....man, she's already a monster girl-]
[I GUESS]
[She's got rock growing over her skin. Cross between a tiefling and a golem.]
Re: THE SEA OF STARS
Anyway the alchemist boy is taking notes.]

Re: THE SEA OF STARS
[Hello handsome boy, you are getting The Most Judgemental Stare from this girl.]
Oh gee, is that what this is?
Gosh, not like there are entire races born from someone making a curse who live their lives just fine and without it having to hurt like a bitch.
Re: THE SEA OF STARS
Re: THE SEA OF STARS
Person banged a devil, person made a deal with a devil, person got cursed by a devil. Some would say all three are a curse. From then on, that bloodline can only produce tieflings.
Then there's the Kenkus who lost their flight and their words.
Various inorganic races that range from magic or cursed.
And who even knows what's going on in the Underdark.
Re: THE SEA OF STARS
[He takes notes on that too, then sets down his notepad.]
You do realise that "my" world is not yours?
Re: THE SEA OF STARS
Sometimes its just being different from before.
Re: THE SEA OF STARS
[He doesn't seem particularly convinced, but he also doesn't seem particularly inclined to explain.]
What do you think it means, then? For "me".
Re: THE SEA OF STARS
Re: THE SEA OF STARS
[He says it very smoothly, as if Pavo says it aaaall the time.]
As for the curse... Think on it.
Re: THE SEA OF STARS
Re: THE SEA OF STARS
Re: THE SEA OF STARS
After growing up with this body, what people who aren't suffering think...honestly, I've never understood it. There's things from anger to pity to murderous intent. Its all so much for things that people just got born into. It makes no sense.
Its at least a little easier to understand someone who is cursed. Even if I don't think the same, its easier to understand where they're coming from.
Re: THE SEA OF STARS
[But he's just... going back to work again... Totally disconnecting from the conversation.]
Re: THE SEA OF STARS
[And Elemental Sight On while she's huffing.]
Re: THE SEA OF STARS
Off to the left, near the wall, the pile of curtains has become a snakelike pile of writhing chains.
The boy is gone, and his alchemy equipment with him. In his place is a monster -- a mass of bodyparts, human and inhuman, churning and seeming to shift and change and connect in ways they have no right to do. It's unnatural, and ugly, and it's immediately bearing down on you with hostile intent.]
Re: THE SEA OF STARS
[And monster.]
[She's on her feet, shield up, but going to focus on the glass, glass is just sand, and sand is just rock, and let's make Glass Spikes into the monster.]
