Pavo Heart Game: Wednesday Session

When you enter the light, you find yourself hovering weightless in a void, as if caught in a moment of falling inertia. In the distance, you hear a voice that seems to shift and twist, familiar and yet unfamiliar.

"You shouldn't be here. But since you already are, let's make a wager. If you can uncover the truth, you'll find me. If you can't, you may be hopelessly lost... What a shame that would be."

You begin falling, and your vision blacks out--

It's a lovely place to be, and the center of Mondstadt's alcohol industry. The master of the Ragnvindr family is sometimes referred to as the "uncrowned king of Mond". What else do you want to know?

Is alcohol a bit industry in Mond? How long has the business been around? Does the Ragnvindr actually have influence or is it just a nickname? Are the grapes local, or did they find a way to get grapes to grow here from somewhere else?

It's the biggest industry we have, and we're world-famous for it. The business has existed for generations, since the original knight Ragnvindr settled down. The Ragnvindr family has incredible social influence due to their wealth and leadership in the alchohol industry, but no actual political power. The grapes are local.

That's true. They're quite a legendary family. One of the "big three" of Mondstadt, as it were.

Gunnhildr and Lawrence. The former are also knights -- you met their current heir in her office earlier, I believe. The Lawrence were the last tyrants to be deposed, a thousand years ago. Their line remains, but they've got some rather nasty stigma about them, no thanks to their constant insistence on their right to return to power. But their current heir has abandoned their ways and become a knight herself. One of my fellow captains, in fact, and a friend. Still, prejudices aside those three families have their names written across Mondstadt's history in both ink and blood.

That is usually the case. I've never understood why humanoids put so much value in their name even when they've been kicked out.
