Pavo Heart Game: Noctua's Grand Adventure
When you enter the light, you find yourself hovering weightless in a void, as if caught in a moment of falling inertia. In the distance, you hear a voice that seems to shift and twist, familiar and yet unfamiliar.
"You shouldn't be here. But since you already are, let's make a wager. If you can uncover the truth, you'll find me. If you can't, you may be hopelessly lost... What a shame that would be."
You begin falling, and your vision blacks out--
[OOC NOTE: your goals are "reveal the truth" to "find the true heart". All images in toplevels are for general inspo, please make sure you read the flavourtext cause things are not exactly as they are in the images.]

Re: SOLITARY CONFINEMENT
I take it there's meaning, to this.
Re: SOLITARY CONFINEMENT
[And so you will play chess, but I'm not threading that out because time and also I don't know how to play chess. So please roll 1d6 with whatever dice roller you like. If you get an even number, you win. If you get an odd number, you lose!
Klee will play with all of Pavo's usual tricks, and all his risky but oddly calculated style. It's just like you used to.]
Re: SOLITARY CONFINEMENT
Noctua's style has changed a lot from when they were younger, gotten craftier and riskier, but there's still that distinct heart to it from before, showing in more straightforward moves.
He still loses.]
Good game.
Re: SOLITARY CONFINEMENT
[She also is happily crawling right over the board to give you a great big hug.]
Re: SOLITARY CONFINEMENT
...then gently pats her tiny back.]
Re: SOLITARY CONFINEMENT
Thanks, Noctua! Do you wanna stay here, or look for that thing...?

Re: SOLITARY CONFINEMENT
[The lock is not on the table, and neither is it on the shelves. But there is a faint glint of something under a pile of stuffed toys on the floor.]
Re: SOLITARY CONFINEMENT
[gonna gently move them toys aside!]

Re: SOLITARY CONFINEMENT
It's not a play room, it's a torture chamber. And in the middle of the room, rather than a cute little girl, is a horrifying mass of tentacles and suckers with a big beak that looks ready to devour you. It looks just like the ones from that one game.]
Re: SOLITARY CONFINEMENT
staggers back, suddenly unable to breathe, confronted with that trauma all at once.]

Re: SOLITARY CONFINEMENT
Fortunately for you, before your trauma can be entirely recreated, that sharp beak tears into your throat.
You lose consciousness, and go elsewhere.
