Pavo Heart Game: Monday Session

When you enter the light, you find yourself hovering weightless in a void, as if caught in a moment of falling inertia. In the distance, you hear a voice that seems to shift and twist, familiar and yet unfamiliar.

"You shouldn't be here. But since you already are, let's make a wager. If you can uncover the truth, you'll find me. If you can't, you may be hopelessly lost... What a shame that would be."

You begin falling, and your vision blacks out--

[It fits in perfectly! When it does, the ceiling is completed. The cracks disappear, and the stars twinkle brightly as if they're real.

And then your body is seized by a wave of agony. Your skin burns, your bones twist -- surely you hit the floor, but by the time you do you've been thoroughly Cursed. Exactly how is player preference, but you've gained some sort of monstrous features. Your form is no longer a pleasing one.]

[the agony part is...well, he's used to it. his form has dissolved at the seams thanks to the burden of resentment, though it has reformed.

...this, however, is different. and definitely some kind of like, half-bird...thing. and trying to get up but it's probably difficult, even for him.]

[It takes awhile, but it does eventually settle. Whatever new shape you've taken, you ache, but you can move. This is just who you are now.

Albedo looks up from his experiment with a slight frown.]

[he's been a monster before, lost to the corruption of his overwhelming karmic debt, and honestly, still is, if barely contained. honestly this might be better, because at least it matches the inside.
