Pavo Heart Game: Sunday Session

When you enter the light, you find yourself hovering weightless in a void, as if caught in a moment of falling inertia. In the distance, you hear a voice that seems to shift and twist, familiar and yet unfamiliar.

"You shouldn't be here. But since you already are, let's make a wager. If you can uncover the truth, you'll find me. If you can't, you may be hopelessly lost... What a shame that would be."

You begin falling, and your vision blacks out--

...hah, alright. You can pick the next door then. [ but there's a part of him that can't help but think that, on the flip side, that horrible thing is a cute little girl. ] ... [ remembers the message on the back of his constellation and buries that thought, digging his heel in to turn on a dime and dash at the tentacle monster aiming to skewer it with his own polearm. ]

[The monster, it turns out, is not very strong. When skewered it shrieks, flailing haplessly, and then... it simply dissolves, leaving naught but a slippery stain on the floor.]
