Pavo Heart Game: Sunday Session

When you enter the light, you find yourself hovering weightless in a void, as if caught in a moment of falling inertia. In the distance, you hear a voice that seems to shift and twist, familiar and yet unfamiliar.

"You shouldn't be here. But since you already are, let's make a wager. If you can uncover the truth, you'll find me. If you can't, you may be hopelessly lost... What a shame that would be."

You begin falling, and your vision blacks out--

[ He probably looks the worse for wear, bloody clothes and scars especially around the chest area. They both probably look like hell at this point. But it doesn't seem to be life threatening or slowing him down too much at least. ]

Do you want to activate the lock here as well then? Even though the door is open.

I just want to poke around. If the door's open, then there's no need for the lock, unless there's some sort of secret door somewhere... but I guess I wouldn't put that past Pavo. No elemental sight though, let's just... see what we can find without it.

[ He tracks that motion with his eyes but does not move away or flinch at Childe's touch. ]

No, I am not sure if I am alright. But if you think we should complete this room, then after that we can rest for good.

[ frowns at that. ] If were still here, then we haven’t completed our objectives, and this is the only room we haven’t gone over with a fine toothed comb, but... you mean more to me than him, so much more, so we don’t have to do this - continue, that is - especially if you’re not really sure...

[ loosely drapes an arm around zhongli’s shoulders in an attempt to pull him closer, fingers twisting in his ponytail. ]

[ He relaxes into the hold, more for Childe's benefit than his honestly.

(Maybe he can still convince him to give up this room.) ]

We have unlocked the door. That is all that I agreed to do for the Grandmaster. That is what she said might help.

So no--- I do not care to wander through these walls of ice especially if they are primed to chip away at our mental fortitude.

[ Never mind that Childe also got skewered upstairs so it's not like either of them are doing great. ]

Alright. [ he stares down the ice hell for a moment more and then starts judging zhongli back toward the door. ] Let’s get out of here before something happens.
